The company MENDIS SARL, abbreviated as MENDIS, a Limited Liability Company (SARL) with a
capital of 5,000,000 XOF, headquartered in Abidjan-Marcory, Zone 4, Boulevard de Marseille,
registered with the Trade and Credit Registry under the number CI-ABJ-03-2021-B12-03348,
represented by Sarah Virginie Amoin Clavel, its manager, residing in her capacity at the said
registered office. The company operates in the marketing of digital guides via the website
www.afrcityguides.com.
Article 1 - Acceptance of Terms of Use

(by MENDIS) and using our services, you fully and unreservedly accept these General Terms of Use
and Sale. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use our site. By purchasing the
guide, the customer formally acknowledges and accepts without reservation all the terms and
conditions stipulated in this agreement. These terms include, but are not limited to, the
commitment not to distribute or disclose the guide(s) or any associated materials owned by
MENDIS and not to use or reproduce the guide(s) or any associated materials for commercial
purposes. The customer understands that any violation of these provisions could result in legal
consequences, including financial penalties and other appropriate measures in accordance with
applicable law.
Article 2 - Purpose of the Site
The MENDIS website offers online sales of digital guides. By using our services, you agree to
comply with these conditions and to abide by all applicable laws and regulations.
Article 3 - Objective
These conditions govern the online sale of guides offered by MENDIS. The objective of this
collaboration is to enable users to access digital and physical guides providing information
about Côte d'Ivoire.
Article 4 - Collection of Personal Information

Article 7 - Intellectual Property

Article 8 – Confidentiality
The parties undertake to maintain the confidentiality of information exchanged during the
collaboration. They will take all necessary measures to ensure confidentiality, including
towards their staff and subcontractors.
Article 9 - Non-Competition and Non-Use of Shared Material Clause
9.1 Non-Competition Commitment
The customer undertakes not to engage, directly or indirectly, in any competitive activity
related to the design, publication, or distribution of guides on Côte d'Ivoire, especially in
West Africa, that would be similar to what MENDIS does.
9.2 Use of Shared Material
The customer agrees not to use, reproduce, distribute, or disclose the purchased guide(s)
and/or obtained guide(s) belonging to MENDIS.
9.3 Prohibition of Acquiring Currently Sold Guide
The customer undertakes not to acquire the currently sold Official Guide by MENDIS for the
purpose of reproducing, distributing, or exploiting it in any way for competitive purposes.
9.4 Duration
The above-mentioned restrictions and clauses remain in effect for a period of two (2) years
from the date of purchase.
Article 10 - Modification of Terms
MENDIS reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. The modifications will take
effect upon publication on the site. It is your responsibility to regularly check the conditions
to stay informed of any changes.
Article 11 - Liability, Guarantees, and Commitments of MENDIS
MENDIS undertakes to provide high-quality guides. MENDIS strives to provide accurate and
up-to-date information. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information presented
on the site. By using our services, you acknowledge that some information may be subject to
errors, and you agree to make your own decisions accordingly.
Article 12 - Duration of the Agreement

Article 13 - Applicable Law
This agreement is governed by the applicable law in Côte d'Ivoire. In case of dispute, the
Commercial Court of Abidjan will have jurisdiction to hear it.
